Be extremely cautious when contacting them online. I encountered a situation where they provided misleading information just to get me into the dealership, and looking at previous reviews, it seems they do this frequently. I inquired about a specific interest rate twice via WhatsApp. A high-level sales representative (a real person, not a bot) assured me that “if everything checked out, it wouldn’t be an issue.” To make absolutely sure we were on the same page, I asked a second time and received the exact same response: “I don’t see any issue with that rate.” Because I have an excellent credit score and felt confident in their explicit assurance, I drove over. When I arrived at the dealership just 30 minutes later, they completely changed their tune and informed me it was impossible to offer that rate because Honda didn’t even have it active. While they might try to argue it wasn't technically a "lie" because of how they phrased it, it was an intentional deception to lure a buyer in. It is deeply misleading and completely undermines trust. I have decided to take my business elsewhere and will always prefer to engage with companies that prioritize transparency and honesty from the very first text.

Don’t buy from Honda of Gainesville I went there to look at 2024 Certified Pre Owned Honda Pilot Listed for $32, 774.00 They agreed to give me $9,675.00 for my 2015 Honda Pilot At signing I gave them $30,574.00 Cash Which means there were over $7000.00 In hidden fees. Also…no car manual….my sales person said mayb you can order one from Amazon? Just found out I have locking lug nuts…..but I have not been given a key to unlock them! Lastly…I have been given no communication regarding my permanent license tag….just a temporary one on my car! Go somewhere else! They are horrible!

I purchased a new 2023 Honda Pilot in September and fell in love at 1st sight! I bought the car from sales consultant James Quesenberry at Honda of Gainesville. I heard about him from family and had never dealt with such a helpful and caring sales associate for a car purchase ever. Moreover, communication with James has also been excellent as he has been there when I have had questions and inquiries. My new Pilot is so comfortable and great to go on long trips with. This is my third Honda as I have always been very pleased with Honda vehicles. I plan on having this vehicle for a long time but will see James at Honda of Gainesville about my next purchase indeed!

This dealership has a great team of associates in all depts.
We found a very nice 2015 Ford Escape on-line and contacted them about doing a test drive. Their internet salesperson Brittany responded in just a few minutes. In the two days that we went to this dealership to look the Escape over, drive it, and then purchase it we were treated like family. I recommend Honda of Gainesville to anyone interested in a new Honda or a used vehicle they might have in inventory. You will be very satisfied with your purchasing experience. There's also a great service department team in place too.

I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday at 9:30am. There sales rep was 5 minutes late so we told management and they hooked us up with their best sales rep, Ed Baker the Car Sale Maker. They were willing to listen to reason and I walked out of the dealership happy with a 2003 Honda Civic with only 70,000 miles.

First time at this dealership and other than taking a while longer than I wanted this is the best car buying experience and customer service I've ever had! At 57 I've dealt with a lot! Anthony George was my Salesperson and he was great to work with! A little new, but did a great job and very informative for being new. Michael Jones was my Sales Manager and Luis Espana was the Finance Manager. Both were very friendly, informative and helpful! I got the car I wanted at a good price. I would recommend everyone I worked with.

tl;dr: MIKE IS AWESOME! To be honest, I have used this dealership before and was extremely unhappy with my previous vehicle purchase. I looked online and Mike gave me a call. He promised to make it right and HE DID. Not only did he go to bat for me on pricing but allowed me to pick the perfect vehicle for me needs and not worry about price. Despite the freezing cold, he allowed me to take my time, look around, and test drive dozens of cars to make sure we were getting the right fit for my lifestyle. Mike follows through on his promises, is not pushy, and an all around great guy. He made sure I was taken care of not only in the days leading up to my purchase but also the day of. If you are looking to buy ANY car call mike first.

Patience not pressure
My experience with Mike Jones and Gainesville Honda was excellent. I purchased a car for my son in 2015 from Mike Jones. Yesterday, I purchased my second car from him, because he is who I wanted to work with. He kept in touch with me and was always available to answer questions. I started looking several months ago and was in 2 or 3 times just to drive something and look. Mike never pressured me to make a decision , but always followed up. He knew my budget and worked hard with his team to make sure we were happy. I was so ecstatic to drive my Accord Ex to work this morning. Highly recommend Mike and Gainesville Honda. We will be life long customers.

Had a good experience while purchasing my truck there. Salesman was very good. Took a really long time to go through everything but finally got there. The service dept. Needs a lot of help. The very first time I went there for my free oil change after the purchase of my vehicle was a fiasco. I scheduled my oil change tire rotation appointment for early that morning, but didn’t get out of there until after 3 o’clock. The truck was never washed after the oil change like they said it would be and the tire pressure was not checked because it still had the wrong tire pressure in there. So I assume the tire rotation never got done. The department was a mess. Customers were standing. everywhere, in the office in the waiting room, outside where the vehicles were. etc. The same day after leaving the facility, I noticed a chime would alert me when I left the vehicle like I had left my keys in the vehicle or light on, but could never figure out what that was and still doing it today takes about 15 minutes for it to reset. Unacceptable very bad experience. So I never went back for my following free oil changes. I go to another dealership to have my oil changed or service to my Subaru?
